Daytime tours by appointment — real fossils and life-sized wildlife, with stories behind every specimen.
Built for learning
Group visits are scheduled around your day — mornings and afternoons, outside regular evening hours.
Fossils, tracks, tusks and mounts students can study up close — natural science you can't get from a screen.
Grade-schoolers, homeschool co-ops, scout troops and senior groups — the tour flexes to who's coming.
What a visit looks like
Who visits Who visits
School classes, homeschool co-ops, scout troops, library programs, church groups and nature clubs are all welcome — and so are senior groups. Tours are grouped around what your group came to see: fossils and deep time, Mississippi wildlife, or habitats around the world.
Admission stays simple: $5 ages 6+, $3 for ages 3–5. Call (601) 736-4910 or send a note from the contact page and we'll find a date.
Senior groups Senior groups
Daytime tours by appointment mean no stairs to rush and no crowd to fight. It's all on one level, there's plenty to sit and look at, and Mickey tells the story behind the pieces himself — most of it collected over a lifetime in Mississippi's woods.
